PERFECT TRIPOD: AUSTRALIAN SONGS AT QPAC
Brisbane audiences will laugh and cry in equal measure when harmony supergroup Perfect Tripod takes to the QPAC stage for one performance only on Friday 25 July.
The ARIA Award-winning Tripod’s decades of inventive harmony together with Helpmann Award-winning and Logie nominated Eddie Perfect’s peerless skill as a composer and interpreter combine to create a beautiful show packed with breathtaking singing; delivered with the sort of playful confidence that can only come with a serious combination of skills and experience on the stage.
Tripod, the rib-tickling giants of Melbourne’s live musical/comedy scene and the one-man showbiz powerhouse that is Eddie Perfect, first joined forces to perform Paul Kelly’s Meet Me In The Middle Of The Air to a rapt cabaret audience in the Famous Spiegeltent, leading to televised performances on ABC TV’s Sideshow and the 2011 Logie Awards.
The band of brothers have crafted a collection of stellar vocal arrangements and are set to wow audiences with their take on hits by iconic Australian artists such as Kylie Minogue, Kasey Chambers, Cold Chisel and John Farnham.
