Peter Noble shares Bluesfest News

Festival Director Peter Noble comments on the one-day ticket sale for the 29th Byron Bay Bluesfest:

“Thanks everyone for your ongoing support. It is such an exciting time right now with so many great artists on offer to play the 2018 Bluesfest edition. Negotiations are in full swing, and we are looking like we’ll be confirming more artists this week. It’s coming together nicely, with some wonderful artists making the right noises about playing.

I’m not sure what the big rumour about Jay Z playing Bluesfest was about. He is a great artist, and we love him … but that’s as far as it goes.

Please buy your tickets soon. Prices are going up, and we will go off sale in the not too distant future, while we prepare for our announcement of great artists.

There is never a better time to buy your tickets than now.”

Bluesfest have almost sold out of their current allocation of Open Single Day tickets, and is your last chance to buy tickets before prices rise with the first artist announcement. Here’s how they work:

1. Buy your Open Single Day Ticket (or tickets if you want even more freedom!).

2. Wait until the 2018 playing schedule has been released, and pick which day looks best to you.

3. Simply show up at the festival on the day of your choice with your Open Day ticket and have the time of your life knowing you’ve saved up to $70 from the regular single day ticket price by purchasing early.

Open Single Day tickets allow you to save money, but still give you the freedom to choose what day you want to attend the festival. Plus you can add on camping and VIP to give you the full Bluesfest experience. Best of all, you can take advantage of our Time to Pay option when buying Open Single Day tickets.
