“Thor: Ragnarok” is the first feature in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to shoot not only in Australia, but in the entire Southern Hemisphere. So, it is with great excitement that we announce the Australian premiere hosted by Marvel and Screen Queensland on Friday October 13th with special guest, director Taika Waititi at Event Cinemas Robina on the Gold Coast.
Marvel Studios will also host a special event screening of “Thor: Ragnarok” on Sunday October 15th at Hoyts Entertainment Quarter in Sydney with special guests Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo and director Taika Waititi walking the red carpet.
In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok,” Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela.
