Queensland School of Film and Television
22 YEARS & COUNTING…
The Queensland School of Film and Television (QSFT) has long enjoyed a national reputation for providing essential education in film and television by offering young filmmakers a high level of quality hands-on training provided by industry professionals in all levels of film, television and digital media production.
Small class sizes ensure personalised attention to each and every student to assist them in developing the skills and expertise to succeed.
“Our students are required to roll up their sleeves and experience the practical reality of filmmaking while at the same time exploring the finer creative points provided by this exciting and challenging industry” says Richard Chen, QSFT Director. “All of our trainers have current industry experiences, which helps provide our students with the right technical skills and networking opportunities to get them started.”
QSFT foster a sense of community between the school, the students, the alumni and affiliates of the school by recognising the individual talents and worth of each and every member in its community and encourage openness and creativity.
Business Development Manager Jamie Speeding added “It is vital for any school to provide personal attention to its students to remain in business. Here at QSFT we go the extra measure to make sure that each and every student receives the same devotion and experience that all students have enjoyed with us over the past 22 years. It really does make a difference.”
“We offer aspiring filmmakers a life experience that is very hard to replicate outside of the wonderful and unique environment that only a reputable film school such as QSFT can provide.”
QSFT offers a high level of flexibility, allowing students with work commitments or budget constraints, a range of attractive training options. Evening courses enable students to work full time or part time while completing their film studies.
