Queensland Symphony Orchestra has welcomed a new partner of the acclaimed Maestro Series.
Queensland Symphony Orchestra Chief Executive Craig Whitehead said, “The Maestro series is a range of exciting concerts featuring favourite classics from the masters, thrilling new compositions and some rare orchestral gems, all performed live by internationally acclaimed conductors, soloists and the talented musicians of Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
“We are delighted to welcome Mapei as a Supporting Partner of the series.”
Founded in Milan in 1937, and with production facilities in 36 countries, including Australia (local base in Wacol, Queensland) Mapei is a world leader in the production of adhesives and chemical products for the building industry, with a strong focus on eco-sustainability and social responsibility.
Mapei’s connection to the arts runs deep, as their products have helped restore many iconic cultural venues around the world including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, the La Scala Theatre in Milan, and the “Antonio Salinas” Museum of Archaeology in Palermo.
