Sam joined Channel 9 Brisbane in January 2014 as a sports reporter/journalist, covering both national and international sporting events as well as feature stories for the network. She also features on the TV shows, The NRL Footy Show, Getaway, Broncos Insider, Maroon Zone and the Isuzu Queensland Golf

Open on Channel Nine.

Mike Dalton, Director of News, Nine Queensland is delighted with Sam’s new appointment.

“Sam was our natural first choice to step into the weekend sports desk role and this reinforces Nine’s tradition of strong female presenters. No-one has a stronger passion for sport – and she doesn’t just report it, Sam lives it – whether it’s cycling, golf, netball, or surfboat rowing.
She’s run two marathons but just wishes her NRL tipping was better !”
