Another new addition to the Hush Hush Biz team will be Matt Shaw, who is young and up and coming, eager entertainment student who would like to grow into having more experience in all parts of showbiz. Already Matt has his own show on Brisbane Bayside Community Radio Station 100.3 Bay FM. Matt is passionate guy and loves meeting interesting people. It’s been a big month in music and it’s time for the New Relaeses from Sony Music to be examined in the “Hush-Hush Biz, Music Pick of the Month”. To start, we have Taylor Henderson, off the back of his X Factor fame, releasing his debut single “Borrow My Heart”. It is available now on iTunes, as well as his performances of Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” and “Horses” by Darryl Brathwaite. Taylors debut single “Borrow My Heart” was released last Friday and has rocketed to the top of the iTunes chart off the back of the XFactor live tour, which just came through Brisbane. Taylor Henderson is looking towards a big things for the future, including his self-titled debut album which is available this weekend.
The next artist in the “Hush-Hush Biz, Music Pick of the Month” is Timomatic, now with his new single “Everything Is Allowed”. Timomatic has just hit 151,000 Facebook fans and 94,000 Twitter followers and has had over 5 million views on YouTube, with his hit singles, “Parachute” and “Set It Off”. Timomatic has had a massive year including two ARIA Award Nominations, for Song of the Year and Best Video of 2013 for his song “Parachute”. Timomatic has also been one of the highest played radio artists in Australia this year.
Dido has released her “Greatest Hits” album including 18 of her best tracks over the last 10 years as well as the deluxe remixed edition, with another 13 tracks mixed by some of the world’s best artists and DJs including Timberland and Manatronics. Dido recently released her fourth studio album “The Girl That Got Away” with her two previous albums “No Angel” and “Life for Rent” still remain two of the UK’s biggest selling albums of all time.
Global superstars One Direction have released their new album “Midnight Memories” and the one thing that the fans a loving is 1Dday. 1Dday was a chance for every fan, from all corners of the globe to get involved and follow the band on their adventures. 1Dday was broadcast on YouTube and Google plus and allowed One Direction fans around the world, to watch the live broadcast, with special guests Robbie Williams, Celine Dion, Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan.
Finally, American pop star Pink, has just released her latest tour DVD “The Truth About Love Tour: Live From Melbourne”. It has debuted at number one on the ARIA DVD chart, with over 140 shows in 13 countries around the globe Pink’s “The Truth About Love Tour” sold out to ecstatic fans that have put her latest tour DVD at number one in the charts this week. “The Truth About Love Tour: Live From Melbourne” includes two and a half hours of content including her amazing concert, as well as bonus behind the scenes features. This is the highlight for me, from this month of music and is a great gift idea for Christmas.
