Synthony set Brisbane alight for the first performance of their 2019 tour on Saturday 17th August. The iconic and historical ‘Brisbane City Hall’ was transformed into a heaving Club Dancefloor. Complete with light show, visuals and state of the art audio that truly delivered what was promised – a dance party like no other!

The stars of the show were the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra led by conductor Peter Thomas, who delivered the dance classics with incredible energy, to screaming fans. Stand out vocal performances featured: Jenny B – (vocalist behind Corona’s ‘Rhythm of The Night’) and Ilan Kidron (vocalist from The Potbelleez – ‘Don’t Hold Back’ complete with acoustic guitar).

The show wouldn’t have been possible without the commitment and talent of the orchestra, conductor, vocalists and arranger Ryan Youens. Also, special mention must go out to the Creative Director & Founder of Synthony: Erika Amoore who put the entire production together with all the Artists / Talent – and who herself is classically trained in piano & violin and is also a DJ.

Most of all, Synthony thanks each of the guests who came along to the show. The organisers have been blown away by the response and are looking forward to seeing everyone in Brisbane again next year, with Sydney and Melbourne also likely additions to the tour schedule. We can not wait!!
