‘JUMP JUMP STAR’, the enchanting brand new live show from much-loved Australian children’s
entertainment sensation, THE FAIRIES, will kick off the QLD leg of its national tour with April shows in Cairns,
Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton and Maryborough, before heading to the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
Best friends Harmony and Rhapsody are stretching their wings and warming up their wands, getting ready to
laugh, dance and sing with Barnaby the Bizzy Buzzy Bee, Elf the Fairy Cake Maker and Wizzy the Wizard,
and explore what it takes to become a real, true fairy!
The ‘JUMP JUMP STAR’ national tour is showcased on a magical stage twinkling with fairy lights – and features sparkling songs, a lively script and beautiful choreography, including some awesome en pointe dancing by Harmony and Rhapsody, both classically trained ballet dancers.
Three brand new songs have been written for the show – ‘Pretty Fairy’, ‘Clap, Clap, Clap!’ and ‘My Dance’ – plus there’s a special surprise appearance by a character who arrives when Wizzy’s magic goes wonky!
Creator of THE FAIRIES, Jen Watts, explains why the tour is called ‘JUMP JUMP STAR’: “Every band in the
world has one song they have to play wherever they go. Well, the Fairies have Jump Jump Star! It never
fails to fill me with pride and joy to see children excitedly star-jumping to this song and it was only a matter of time before we felt we had to write a full show around this adored song.”

Jen Watts says this new live show is an hour of fun designed to have children singing, dancing and smiling – and as always, will try to leave the audience with some important messages.
“In this show, life is about singing, dancing, laughing and loving – as it should be! As well as the messages that everybody has their own talent and everybody is special”.
THE FAIRIES have very positive messages for their legions of little fans – apart from providing great entertainment, they actively promote The Five Fairy Friendship Rules of accepting people just as they are, being positive, sharing, showing people you care and taking ownership of your mistakes.
