Sydney Inner-West hip-hop aficionados, Joyride and Raph Lauren (from Jackie Onassis) combined forces earlier this year, forming the elusive duo THE MEETING TREE, releasing their debut EP r u a cop in May.
Today the duo celebrates “The Financial Year of the Long Lunch” by hosting a 24 hour long lunch at The Lord Gladstone in Chippendale, streaming live from midday today. THE MEETING TREE will be inviting friends and fans to join them throughout their ambitious 24 hour long lunch, to break bread and be part of this once-in-a-lifetime event. To celebrate, The Lord Gladstone will be offering up free bacon & egg rolls and $5 Bloody Mary’s on Thursday morning between 6am- 9am, so get in early and show your support for THE MEETING TREE.
Launching through Instagram, THE MEETING TREE quickly grew a large and engaged audience, building fans through its mystery and overriding riddle, ‘r u a cop’? Today that riddle may be answered over lunch, or it may not. Either way, THE MEETING TREE’S debut EP r u a cop is out now and lunch will be served from midday at The Lord Gladstone.
Joyride and Raph Lauren, as part of One Day were recently handpicked to support Drake on his debut stadium tour of Australia, whilst their One Day Sundays block party has grown to become the country’s biggest, best and most turnt.

ABOUT JOYRIDE
Joyride is the spiritual descendent of Nate Dogg and Barry White, with an irresistible voice that’s graced stages across the country, as well as more triple j ‘Like A Version’ appearances than you can count. Also the touring DJ for Spit Syndicate, he’s a skilled multi-instrumentalist.
ABOUT RAPH
Raph Lauren is the producer behind rap duo Jackie Onassis, known for being shirtless for no reason whatsoever. Jackie Onassis are set to release their debut album in 2015, while Raph’s solo production has earned praise from the likes of Ryan Hemsworth and 24 Karat Kev.
