THE SCRIPT TO ROCK THE ROOM AT THE 57TH TV WEEK LOGIE AWARDS

Rock royalty The Script join Meghan Trainor and Ricky Martin who will all perform live at this year’s TV WEEK Logie Awards.

Straight off the back of their SOLD OUT – No Sound Without Silence Aussie tour, one of Ireland’s biggest musical exports, The Script will take the Logies stage after Sam Smith was sadly forced to cancel the remainder of his Australian tour and his Logies appearance due to on-going health issues, on doctor’s orders.

The Script have become one of the biggest bands in the world, selling over 20 million records, including their four Top 10 Aussie hits and going six times platinum on the ARIA charts.

With more than 133 million YouTube views and over 100 million Spotify plays, bandmates Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power are set to go down in the “Hall Of Fame” of modern rock, just like their 2012 worldwide smash of the same name that featured Will.I.Am.

The TV WEEK Logies will be The Script’s last Aussie performance before the band heads to New Zealand to continue their tour.

”We’re ecstatic that The Script are going to perform at the TV WEEK Logies,” says TV WEEK editor Emma Nolan. “Viewers can expect a high energy and memorable performance from this Irish trio. It will be a moment not to be missed,”
The Script’s latest album No Sound Without Silence is available now, featuring their latest single “Man on a Wire”.

The 57th TV WEEK LOGIE AWARDS will be held at Crown Entertainment Complex’s Palladium Room in Melbourne and will air on the Nine Network on Sunday, May 3.
