TRAVEL BOOKS LONELY PLANET …New Zealand Road Trips

Lonely Planet reveals 25 of New Zealand’s most amazing road trips with the release of a second edition of New Zealand’s Best Trips.

In celebration of the two-way Trans-Tasman travel bubble Lonely Planet has launched 5 fully updated guidebooks to New Zealand (Aotearoa).

“It’s hard to imagine a better country for a road trip,” announces Lonely Planet on release of a second edition of their New Zealand’s Best Trips – 25 Amazing Road Trips guidebook (in stores now). “New Zealand’s two main islands serve up a feast of mountain landscapes, sublime forests, sweeping beaches and remote fjords, easily reached by scenic highways and quiet country roads,” the travel publisher continues.

“New Zealand’s Best Trips – 25 Amazing Road Trips will help you plan your ultimate New Zealand adventure,” enthuses Lonely Planet’s spokesperson Chris Zeiher. “From personal faves like wining and dining adventures on Waiheke Island, Marlborough, Hawke’s Bay or Central Otago to taking in the rugged, not-often travelled West Coast coastline or marvelling at brilliant natural wonders such as Milford Sound these trips promise memorable encounters and stunning scenery,” Zeiher continues.

New Zealand’s Best Trips – 25 Amazing Road Trips include –
Northern Odyssey – 6-8 day tour of Northland & the Bay of Islands taking in gorgeous coastal scenery, exploring Maori culture and sampling incredible seafood
The West Coast Road – a week long spectacle of epic wilderness and big, blue ocean underpinned by a rugged, unflinching history

“And to celebrate the announcement of the two-way Trans-Tasman bubble, set to start on April 19, 2021, Lonely Planet’s very popular suite of New Zealand guidebooks have all been released into new editions,” Zeiher adds. “We’ve busily been updating our New Zealand titles in anticipation of the travel bubble. First published in 1977 a 20th edition of our New Zealand (Aotearoa) guidebook has gone into stores now and will connect travellers to amazing experiences in Aotearoa.”
