Vanessa Amorosi New Release and Tour Dates

This is HELLO ME, the unforgettable new self-love anthem from Australia’s powerhouse singer-songwriter Vanessa Amorosi.

It is a raw, intimate yet commanding song about setting boundaries and making choices

The culmination of writing sessions between four Los Angeles-based songwriters and producers hailing from all corners of the globe – Vanessa Amorosi (Australia), Aleena Gibson (Sweden), Trevor Muzzy (USA) and Erika Ceruti (Italy) make HELLO ME a true collaboration.

When discussing HELLO ME Vanessa said it has a magic about it and moved us all emotionally despite our varied backgrounds — our writing sessions were a real melting pot and I love that because it really took me out of my comfort zone. There is no formula, everyone brings something different to the table and in the end, you know you’ve got something good when everyone is speaking the same language.”

Cause it’s time to be the one that I’m fighting for

And it’s time for me to walk through that open door If I have to make a choice then it has to be Goodbye you, goodbye you, hello me.

HELLO ME is intentionally light on production to ensure the spotlight remains firmly focused on its killer hook and lyrics. The song is real, it’s raw, it’s authentic and it means something.

With the way the world has changed men are now talking openly on social media about mental health and depression and it being ok—and women speaking out about toxic relationships and work environments. This song is really about speaking your truth and choosing to love and respect yourself.

Vanessa’s evolution as a hugely successful and much-loved recording artist is well documented in Australia, and to a certain degree, HELLO ME is also somewhat autobiographical about her own life. “I think it’s just a common thing that everyone experiences when challenges come in life,” she says. “You have to draw the line, you have to choose yourself and you have to make yourself a priority. As a youngster, you don’t typically learn that until you are older and have a little wisdom and life experience. Then you start learning where your boundaries are and what’s healthy / unhealthy for you mentally and physically.

Why am I fighting for air when you won’t let me breath?

And why am I dying for love when it just makes me bleed?

Going forward, Vanessa’s fans will be thrilled to hear she has “so many songs” that she’s very much looking forward to releasing over the next decade and beyond. “I want people to know this is just the beginning. The first half of 2019 has been so special for me being able to share my new music in Australia and around the world. Lots being released I am very proud of! I just cant wait to perform them live at my shows”
