Whether you are celebrating Valentine’s Day with your new love, your partner or your mates, do it at La La Land because the legendary crooners Palimpsest featuring Tyrone Noonan are returning for their next live show series paying tribute to Jazz giants. This time the show is titled – appropriately – We Are in Love: A Valentine’s Day Tribute to Harry Connick Jnr. Be serenaded with the music of the legendary Harry Connick Jnr courtesy of the caramelly voice of Tyrone Noonan, joined by some of the best Jazz musicians Brisbane has to offer, including Brendan St Ledger on piano, Joshua Hatcher on bass and Aaron Jansz on drums.
*A note on the five-course menu, it features a glass of Moet on arrival, then dishes like Coffin Bay oyster and hibiscus mignonette; Tempura zucchini flower, whipped ricotta and bay leaf; Torched ocean trout, yuzu, horseradish and finger lime; Coal roasted wagyu rump cap, pickled cucumber and mustard jus with duck fat roasted potatoes, thyme and garlic, then, white chocolate panna cotta, strawberry granita and lemon verbena!

Indie punk rock band Pandamic, the “three blokes havin’ a go” from Rockhampton – Rhys Adams (guitar/vocals), Rangi Barnes (drums) and Matt Cochran (bass/backing vocals) headline the show with their blend of skater punk, indie and alt-rock. Pandamic will be joined by Plateau, Brisbane boys Wade Viers, Hayden Smit and Lachlan Davis; Gold Coast rock powerhouse Rinser and Sunny Coast band Bronze Age, with Eli, Carlos, Wyle and Mikaela. After a long and trying 2020, Greaser is looking to kick things into gear in 2021 and get the party started again.
Partnering with Fireball and FIGJAM Agency, we present… FIREBALL FEST 2021! A multi-stage festival celebrating all things rock ‘n’ roll in the iconic heritage-listed venue. Headlining is acclaimed Sydney punks The Dead Love. Their 2019 album ‘The Extinction of Unicorns’ was released by US label Adventure Cats Records, and garnered acclaim both domestically and around the globe, with extensive airplay on stations everywhere. Joining them are emerging Brisbane rockers Semantics. Their message of emotionally charged mid-west inspired punk rock has resonated with the disenfranchised youth of Queensland and beyond, culminating in a feverous live performance that needs to be experienced to be understood. We Set Signals, Radolescent, BLUSSH, Melaleuca, Bad Neighbour, Wildheart, Humblet, The Buzzing Towers and King George will also perform, showcasing some of the incredible local talent that Brisbane has to offer, with Greaser DJ’s till late!
