Woolworths Carols in the Domain is excited to announce Samantha Jade as the official Ambassador.

Since taking out the coveted title as X Factor Winner for 2012, this pocket rocket performer has forged quite a career.

2015 saw her land the support act for the biggest band in the world, One Direction on their Australian tour and being announced as the newest face of Summer Bay on Seven Network’s Home and Away.

Hot on the heels of her current single ‘Shake That’, Samantha Jade can now also add Woolworths Carols in the Domain Ambassador.

Samantha Jade said, ‘I am thrilled to be an Ambassador for Woolworths Carols in the Domain. Christmas is about sharing and giving. I am also delighted to be helping The Salvation Army, an organisation that does great work in the community, particularly at Christmas time when those less privileged than most of us need an extra helping hand”.

The ever-popular Carols event, and Australia’s largest festive Christmas concert, will be held for its 33rd year on December 19. Once again Woolworths is the proud major sponsor with the theme being “Christmas Together”. With a star studded line-up of singers, entertainers, special guests and maybe even a few surprises.

Co-Executive Producer, Shauna Kane from activeTV said, “Woolworths Carols in the Domain is thrilled to announce one of Australia’s hottest female performers, Samantha Jade, as ambassador for one of the biggest festive events on the calendar.

We’re so proud to be able to bring this event to life each year for all Australian’s to enjoy. The generous support of our sponsors ensures we are able to deliver a world-class event.

Watching Carols is a festive tradition in many Australian homes and together with our sponsors we are excited to bring you, in 2015, one of our most memorable events to date”.

Woolworths Carols in the Domain celebrates the true spirit of Christmas and also proudly supports The Salvation Army as the official charity.

For those that can’t make it to the event, Woolworths Carols in the Domain will be broadcast live on the Seven Network at 8.30pm on Saturday 19th December.

Concert goers and viewers alike will be able to share their Woolworths Carols in the Domain moments via this year’s official #ChristmasTogether
