At QSO’s Lights, Camera, Action! Concert – June 19

Ebony Banks, a rising singing star from Rothwell, will join the QSO in a concert of epic proportions featuring music from classic soundtracks Star Wars, E.T. Harry Potter and Disney’s highest grossing animated film of all time, Frozen.

The Brisbane-born young singer, currently studying a Bachelor of Musical Theatre at the Queensland Conservatorium, will showcase her talent and belt out the notes to Frozen favourite ‘Let it Go’ at the QSO Lights, Camera, Action! concert on Sunday 19 June.

Ebony has just finished performing in the Queensland Conservatorium production of Sweet Charity, where she played the leading role of Charity. Her other accolades include starring in; The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Pirates of Penzance and Godspell.

Ebony’s love for the arts first started while dancing at Sharon Alback Dance Centre at Redcliffe, where she invested many hours studying. In 2011, at age 13, she first discovered her voice and began her involvement in community theatre at Brisbane Junior Theatre.
