Brisbane has some amazing talent across the board of Entertainment but there are four young lads who are about to make some noise who are still at school and aged 15 years to nearly 17years of age that have been close mates since primary school, and all who have the desire to play rock and roll. The lead guitarist and vocalist writer Guy Di Mattina formed the band a year ago with Bass guitarist Sam Thornton, and on drums is Taylor Clifford, with the oldest in the group is Rhythm guitarist Stephen Labanne.
The band is Findaway and they have just in last 2 weeks launched there new EP Findaway that is making impressions on Global market in Spotify. They are playing live gigs on weekends, and practice their music each day while attending school and doing homework and part time jobs. They are unique and impressive and all very lovely young lads who are ready to climb up in the industry of rock and roll. 🎸
I was thrilled to spend time with the boys today in Guys music stuido room at his parents home where all the creative action happens, and we recored a interview with the band and also piece to camera with Guy playing guitar and singing. WOW! He sure has a something special and at such a young age and knowing his confidence he is sure to make a name for himself as to his growing talents as guitarist and vocalist.
Findaway have a exciting sound as Grunge | Metal | Alt Rock and they have lots of plans in the works’ and I am sure they will make a impact and as they say watch this space as they are up and rising young talents all set to make dreams come true.
